“Southeast Weld Fire Protection District is a member of the Northern Colorado Firefighter Recruitment Consortium (NCFRC) with seven other departments in northern Colorado. The network is comprised of departments that serve the northern area to recruit highly qualified, skilled, and diverse individuals who seek firefighter opportunities with both career and volunteer/reserve departments. Using National Testing Network/FireTeam for standardize testing, this allows applicants one location to view which Northern Colorado departments are hiring while giving the departments the ability to work together in a hiring process. This process is on-going, open continuously which allows departments to select qualified candidates when they have positions open.
